A week ago my mom, Thurm and I all went to see "Wicked" in Salt Lake at the Capitol Theatre. We were in the 10th to last row, so not great seats. But I have been wanting to see the musical for years and I wasn't willing to pay more than $50 a ticket. It was a very entertaining show and all of us loved it. I think Galinda was my favorite character.
Friday night we went to Benson Grist Mill and saw "Fiddler on the Roof." The community put it on, and they did a fantastic job! It had the feel of going to Sundance because it was outdoor, but just on a smaller level. The buildings at the Benson Grist Mill provided the perfect backdrop. I loved it! I was worried that I might end up sitting in bleacher seating the whole time, but luckily we found chairs to sit in.
I had a doctors appointment today. He did an internal exam and couldn't feel the baby at all, so he declared her breach again. I said "No she's not. All my babies have just stayed really high until the day I give birth." So he felt around on my stomach and said that she felt head down and we will just assume she is head down. I think his short fingers might be a hindrance to his profession.
I'm due in 10 days, but I'm just mentally prepared for 15 or 16 days. I hope I don't go over much more however because our insurance renews on Sept 1st. That would mean paying my deductable again.
For Thurm's last hurrah (school meetings start tomorrow) we went to SLC this morning. We took the boys to the chidlren's museum, which is always a fun time. Then we went to a couple nurseries so Thurm could find some specialty herb plants he wanted. He was giddy.
